This year, Sanibel Harbour has decided to dedicate a whole month to supporting our Veterans. We have all been affected in some way or another. Whether it’s a family member or a friend. Now is the time to share your stories and offer support and appreciation for those who have fought for our freedom. In honor of Veterans Day this coming November, we will be giving away a free trip to one winner with a special story. Take to our Facebook wall and share your experience. *Contest runs from September 30, 2009 - November 6, 2009. Prize includes: One (1) package for two including: Two (2) night stay at Sanibel Harbour Resort & Spa, waterfront accommodations, breakfast for 2 persons daily (2 days), two welcome cocktails, dinner one night for 2 persons at Courtside Steakhouse. Subject to availability from November 1, 2009 – April 30, 2010. Completed travel must be done by April 30, 2010. Holiday weeks (5 days prior and after) and blackout periods apply. Winner will receive booking instructions. All other expenses are the responsibility of winner. Travel Companion must travel on same itinerary, at the same time and sharing the same room as the winner. No additional persons are allowed to stay in the same room as the winner and their companion.

A big thank you to all those who came out and spent your Labor Day with us here at Sanibel Harbour. Our first annual Margarita in Paradise was quite a success. The Cheeseburger buffet was delicious, and not to mention the Conch Fritters, which were clearly the crowd favorite! Our karaoke contest went off without a hitch even if we all didn’t hit those high notes. The “Harper Valley PTA” rendition won the contest and the $200 resort credit. Charley’s Cabana Bar was really slammin’ with great tunes and the flow of Land Shark Lager all day, and night, long. Thanks to the Land Shark girls for helping out.
